About Dr. Matthew Barrett

Dr. Matthew Barrett is Research Professor of Christian Theology at Trinity Anglican Seminary. He is theologian-in-residence with Anselm House at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church where he leads the Anselm Fellows.
He has also been appointed the McDonald Agape visiting scholar at Dominican House of Studies and the Thomistic Institute in Washington D.C. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Credo and host of the Credo podcast. He is also the Director of the Center for Classical Theology.
Books
Currently, he is writing a Systematic Theology with Baker Academic which you can read about in his regular newsletter (subscribe here). This will be followed by a Doctrine of God. In addition, as both an Anglican and a Thomist, Dr. Barrett is currently writing a volume on Thomas Aquinas’s Christology. Finally, he is also the editor with Craig Carter of The Pillars of Christian Dogmatics series with IVP Academic.
He is the author of numerous published books, such as Simply Trinity: The Unmanipulated Father, Son, and Spirit (Baker), which won the Christianity Today Award in Theology. He is also the editor of the new book, On Classical Trinitarianism (IVP Academic), which won the TGC book of the year award in theological studies.
