Events

Anselm Fellows not only contemplate God but all things in relation to God. In that spirit, Anselm Fellows have a variety of opportunities to engage the culture with the life of the mind. This includes participating in two events.

Public lectures at St. Aidan’s

With its focus on contemplation, Anselm House has the ethos of a monastery. However, Anselm House is also outward in focus. Anselm House will host public lectures and anyone in Kansas City is invited, Christian and non-Christian alike.

Each talk is by a theologian who will model how classical Christianity can answer challenges we face in our culture today. The 2026 lecture will be delivered by Bryan Hollon on C.S. Lewis and the right ordering of the affections by the Book of Common Prayer.
