Anselm Fellows have the unique opportunity to apply their learning to our secular age, engage the intellectual life of the wider Thomistic community, and participate in conferences in the ACNA.
City Talks
With its focus on contemplation, Anselm House has the ethos of a monastery. However, Anselm House is also outward in focus. Twice a year Anselm House will host “City Talks” and anyone in Kansas City is invited, Christian and non-Christian alike.
Each talk is by a theologian who will model how classical Christianity can answer challenges we face in our culture today. The talks in 2026 will be delivered by Bryan Hollon and Matthew Barrett.
Anselm House Fellows will help plan and organize these City Talks.
Details and registration coming soon.

Aquinas KC
Aquinas KC is a conference right here in Kansas City at Donnelly College. The purpose of Aquinas KC is to bring Catholics and Protestants into dialogue around Thomas Aquinas and for the sake of answering many of the modern metaphysical challenges we face from our secular age.
Each year this conference will feature a lecture series by major theologians, Catholic and Protestant. After the plenary lectures, others will present papers in breakout sessions.
Anselm Fellows are welcome to submit a paper proposal and if accepted they will have the opportunity to present at the conference.
The first Aquinas KC conference will be held on October 17th, 2026 at Donnelly College. The speakers will include Dominic Legge, O.P. and Matthew Barrett.
Website and registration for the conference are coming soon.
Anglican 39
Anglican 39 is named after the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion. Anglican 39 gathers Anglicans across the country around classical Anglicanism and its renewal today. In 2026 there will be two webinars Anselm Fellows will attend online. They will listen to key interviews with Anglican theologians about Anglican theology and history, all in an effort to foster reformed catholicity.
